When acclaimed novelist Emily Saso approached me and asked me to compose an original score for her new book trailer, I jumped at the opportunity—reliving the days where I would venture off into a beautiful distant land creating and re-creating music. Helping the next generation find joy in making music has always been an integral part of my journey as a musician. The Hammer Band is an organization that provides music education to over 1000 students from underserved communities. My work with The Hammer Band as a violin instructor is particularly dear to my heart because I truly believe the power of music can brighten a child’s future and create a better tomorrow for all of us. One of my passions is to create electronic crossover samples—blending a fusion of pop, rock, EDM, and classical to produce a soundtrack that is out of this world. Collaborating with DJ’s and re-making cover songs over backing tracks are part of what I love to do. Plans for an album are underway, samples coming soon!
