Are You Looking For a Teacher?
I currently teach violin, piano, and music theory in my home studio in Toronto and welcome interested students of all levels. Whether you are looking for advanced studies or wanting to just play for fun, I can accommodate and will help bring out the inner musician in you.
I have had successful experiences in training students for recitals, exams, festival competitions, event performances, and university entrance auditions. At present, I offer both online or in-person lessons, catered to individual needs as requested.
With a heart for children in the arts, I have worked as a music educator with the Mississauga Youth Orchestra, the Mooredale Youth Orchestra, and Toronto District School Boards. I am also currently on faculty with The Hammer Band Program: From Violence to Violins, an outreach school program providing violin lessons to under-served students in Toronto.
I regularly curate and present educational concerts and workshops to promote music appreciation and literacy among the children and youth of our community. My latest presentation to post-secondary Faculty of Music students, titled “Freelancing As A 21st Century Musician” was met with warm enthusiasm. Strategic plans are underway for new and innovative online workshops in the near and distant future.
I hold an ARCT Diploma from the Royal Conservatory of Music, a Bachelor of Music Degree in Performance from the University of Toronto, and a Bachelor of Education Degree from the University of Toronto.
Students of all ages and backgrounds are welcome. I am deeply committed to helping each individual find their own musical path on their journey of life.
